Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to browse this site and order from us, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or other assistive technology. We're a two-person shop, not a big company, but we take this seriously and we fix problems when we hear about them.
What We Aim For
Our goal is to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. In practice that means things like text descriptions on product and customer photos, forms with labels, pages that work with a keyboard, and animations that turn off when your device is set to reduce motion. We haven't had the site formally audited, so there may be places where we fall short.
Parts We Don't Control
Some pieces of the site come from other companies and are built by them: the payment fields in the cart (Stripe), address suggestions (Google), discount verification (GovX), and the invisible spam check on our forms (Google reCAPTCHA). If one of those gets in your way, tell us and we'll help you another way.
If Something Doesn't Work for You
Email kylie@chaotick9creations.com or use our Contact page. Tell us which page you were on and what happened, and what browser or assistive technology you use if you know. We read every message ourselves and will get back to you, usually within a couple of business days. If you'd rather not use the website at all, we're glad to answer questions and take an order by email.
